چکیده

Abstract The phenomenon of “anti-peak regulation” occurs when large-scale new energy is connected to the grid. strange wind, light, and water curtailment at low loads in areas with weak power regulation capacity, problem peak system has become increasingly prominent. typical scenario method adopted simplify description photovoltaic generation output hydropower station runoff. Then, considering fluctuation production complementary system, short-term multi-objective optimal dispatching model constructed objective maximizing average capacity coefficient load rate on premise meeting corresponding constraints. Finally, simulation experimental platform built. algorithm used solve model. Through case study, effect intermittent uncertain analyzed, effectiveness verified. mode can fully guarantee collaborative optimization decision-making a multi-microgrid clean power. It also effectively promote acceptance level distribution network, reduce carbon emission network.

Power Electronics Technology that Supports Smart Grid

† Fuji Electric Co., Ltd following a parallel off (2) Isolated operation detection function An isolated operation detection function is essential for connecting to a power system. Isolated operation is the state in which an isolated system that has been disconnected from the power system is supplied with electricity from the output of a distributed power source only. In the isolated operating s...

Distribution Grid Planning Considering Smart Grid Technologies

Connection of distributed generation (DG) units, energy storages, and new loads into low voltage (LV) grids leads to a constrained operation of the grids. Consequently, voltage limits violation and overloading of grid assets occur more frequently. To tackle these issues, distribution system operators (DSO) still employ traditional techniques in planning distribution grids to increase grid hosti...

Smart Grid Technology, Vision, Management and Control

Energy supply has become one of the most challenging issues facing the world in the 21st Century. Growing populations, more homes and businesses and a myriad of new appliances have caused energy demand to skyrocket in every part of the country. The fundamental method of operating the nation’s power grid has not changed much in the past 100 years. It has remained essentially the same, although t...

Model Predictive Control for an Uncertain Smart Thermal Grid

Smart Thermal Grids (STG) represents a new concept in the energy sector that involves the use of the smart grid concept in heat grids connecting several parties to each other via bidirectional transport of heat. The focus of this paper is on modeling and control of STGs in which the uncertainties in the demand and/or supply are included. To this end, we use Model Predictive Control (MPC), which...

Optimal Power Flow in the Smart Grid Using Direct Load Control Program

This paper proposes an Optimal Power Flow (OPF) algorithm by Direct Load Control (DLC) programs to optimize the operational cost of smart grids considering various scenarios based on different constraints. The cost function includes active power production cost of available power sources and a novel flexible load curtailment cost associated with DLC programs. The load curtailment cost is based ...
